You need to wet water activated tape before it adheres to the box. Follow the tips below for perfect tape application.

• Make sure you line up your tape correctly.
• Make sure your logo or branding aligns with the cut line of the sealant when placing it on the tape. Also, keep your line of tape straight to cover the opening of the box.
• Wet the unprinted side: To use water-activated tape you must apply water to the non-printed side. You can do this manually by using a wet sponge or damp rag.
• Place the tape on the box: Wet the right side of the tape and gently place it over the box's opening. As you do this, ensure that you use enough water to create a permanent bond between the tape and the box. Once you stick down the wet tape, it will penetrate the box material and keep it in place.

Pressure sensitive adhesive is easier to apply than water activated tape. Line up the tape correctly and then slowly secure the tape against the cardboard. Once applied, flatten it to remove any air bubbles.

Paper packaging tape has 8 rolls in a case. Each roll has 375 feet of tape.

Polypropylene packaging tape has 24 rolls in a case. Each roll has 165 feed of tape.

Paper tape: 6½" diameter roles have no cardboard core. 2.8" width.

Polypropylene tape: 3 ⅞" diameter rolls have a 3" cardboard core.

You can include up to 3 ink colors on your custom packaging tape. You can select from our standard set of 15 colors or you can specify PMS colors to exactly match your branding.

• You must use solid colors (no screens or gradients)
• Vector art is preferred for best print results
• Adjust and scale your artwork to fit within: 2 3/4” height x 9“ width
• Ensure your artwork is not cut off by allowing a 1/8" margin top and bottom of the tape
• Note: There is a 1/8” gap between every repeat of artwork.
• Artwork maximum length is 9"
• Pro Tip: Simple bold artwork works best in the repeating pattern used to print your tape.

Yes you can! Easily include your logo in your artwork file to have it on your custom packaging tape. Keep in mind, artwork must include 1/8" print margin (no bleeds). See "How do I setup my artwork" for more information.
